Air Distribution Damper

Replacing damper motor air distribution

TTTK3 Removing damper motor air distribution

-

Ignition off.

-

In Right-hand drive cars:

-

Remove glove compartment 

-

Remove soundproofing panel 

-

Remove knee bolster if installed.

-

Disconnect damper motor air distribution connector.

-

Unscrew screws.

Place a screwdriver between damper motor and damper reel.

-

Remove damper motor by working off carefully with the screwdriver.

TTTK5 Installing damper motor air distribution

Install damper motor.

NOTE!  Line up the bevelling on the damper motor output shaft in the damper reel.

-

Connect damper motor air distribution connector.

-

Reinstall knee bolster, if any.

-

Install soundproofing panel

-

In Right-hand drive cars:

-

Install glove compartment 

-

After replacement it is necessary to carry out self adjustment of the system motors.

-

Check no diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored during repairs.
