Odor elimination in evaporator

Insert spray nozzle through power unit/blower fan resistor opening in housing.

Cover hole with cloth.

Protect interior trim with cloths.
WARNING! USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES. ENSURE THAT VENTILATION IS GOOD.

Point the nozzle so the agent is sprayed towards the evaporator.

Move nozzle backward and forward across evaporator while spraying to ensure that the entire surface of the evaporator is treated with agent. Use
all the agent in the bottle.

Connecting battery

Reconnect battery ground lead.
For C70N70/S70:

Reinstall power unit according to TTTB. (See UUU A6)

Replacing blower fan resistor (MCC/STANDARD) TTTG. (See UUU A6)
UUUA10 Drying evaporator

Set temperature control to max. heat and blower selector to max. speed.

Start engine.
-
Allow engine to run for 2 minutes.

Switch oft the engine.
-
Allow agent to act for 30 minutes.
-
Start engine.
-
Open car windows.
-
Turn on recirculation, blower fan switch on max. speed and temperature selector to max. heat.

Allow engine to run for 10 minutes to permit agent to dry and form protective skin, and to prevent agent from being washed oft by condensation.
