Disconnect connector.
Remove the tail lamp and clean the mating surfaces on the bodywork.

Install New Tail Lamp.

Reconnect the connector and reinstall the cover.

Check fit.

Replacing Lower Tail Lamp

Ignition off.

Remove:

- 

upper tail lamp according to operations Replacing upper tail lamp.

- 

floor hatch and cover in front of lower tail lamp according to operations Replacing lower tail lamp bulbs.

Press in the two catches and lift out the bulb holder.

Replacing Lower Tail Lamp

Fold up floor hatch and unscrew sill trim panel.
Remove panels and remove nuts holding tail lamp with a long socket.
