Connect the temporary ground lead (P/N 9511522) to one of the ground terminals on the upper section of the cylinder head (as illustrated).

Note!

The other end of the ground lead will later be connected to the airbag container inside the car.

Removing the glove compartment

Remove the screws holding the glove compartment. (6x Torx 25).

Remove the glove compartment.

Removing the soundproofing panel

Remove the screws holding the soundproofing panel (2 x Torx 25).

Separate the connector for the courtesy lighting.
