Secure the ground lead to the existing cable harness in the upper / outer corner of the glove compartment (see illustration).

Secure the ground lead as high up as possible. Remove the temporary ground lead from between the airbag and cylinder head.

Reinstall the soundproofing panel

Install the soundproofing panel.

Connect the courtesy lighting connector.

Screw the soundproofing panel into place.

Reinstall the glove compartment

Install and screw the glove compartment into place. Check that the inner glove compartment mounting is correctly positioned.
