Tailgate Locking Mechanism, replacement
Background
It has been determined that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exist in the locking mechanism of certain 2000 model year V70 vehicles. In
combination with cold temperatures this may cause improper locking of the tailgate. On all vehicles affected by this recall the locking mechanism for the
tailgate will be replaced.
