Wash the door sill

Place a strip of tape on the front edge of the sill panel and square to the edge of the door sill.

Position the sill moulding by the strip of tape on the front edge and position it so that the cut-outs at both ends align with the corresponding door
sill. Exercise care when positioning so the that moulding is not misaligned.

Attach a strip of tape to mark the sideways position.
