Fit the bracket that is part of the measuring equipment. Use the brake caliper's retaining screw.
Fit the dial indicator in the bracket. Position the dial indicator's tip toward the brake disc.
Slowly rotate the brake disc. The maximum lateral runout of the hub should not exceed 0.025 mm.
If lateral runout exceeds 0.025 mm, replace the brake disc. Refer to: Rear brake disc See: Service and Repair/Rear Brake Disc.
Note! Always check the wheel hub's lateral runout before installing a new brake disc. Refer to: Wheel hub rear, checking See:
