Removal
Preparatory work
Remove the drive shaft. Refer to: Drive shaft right, B6324S, TF-80SC See: Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Drive Shaft Right.
Removing differential seals
Position a container underneath the transmission.
999 5768 Puller See: Tools and Equipment/999 5768 Puller.
Lubricate the puller's guide pin with a little grease.
Use a ratchet wrench with extension and socket, press in the puller against the seal at the same time as the puller is rotated.
Tighten so that the threaded cone screws firmly into the seal.

Remove the puller's cap nut.

Install the puller's bracket and nut.

Remove the seal.

Check that no seal residue is left.
