XC70 L5-2.5L Turbo VIN 59 B5254T2 (2003)
Remove:
-
the splash guard under the engine
-
the tie strap around the pipe where the return hose meets the pressure hose
-
the heat deflector plate over the steering gear
-
the clip on the pipe over the steering gear.
Remove:
-
the Three-Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) mounting member
-
the Side Impact Protection System (SIPS) member.
Pull out the heat deflector plate over the Three-Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) as far back as possible.
Remove:
-
Screw for the clamp on the sub-frame (does not apply to AWD).
Remove the pipe coupling at the steering gear.
Pull the pipe/hose towards the right wheel arch until the end with the nipple can be pulled forward.
Remove the hose.
