Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair
Replacing the canister purge (CP) valve
Replacing the canister purge (CP) valve
Removing the canister purge (CP) valve

Remove the intake manifold between the front cover plate and the air cleaner (ACL) housing.

Disconnect the canister purge (CP) valve connectors.

Pull off the valve from the bracket on the fan shroud.
-
Mark up and pull off the hoses from the valve.
Installing a new canister purge (CP) valve
-
Install the hoses according to the marking.
-
Install the canister purge (CP) valve on the bracket on the fan shroud.
-
Connect the canister purge (CP) valve connectors.
-
Install the intake manifold between the front cover plate and air cleaner (ACL) housing.
