Pull the gear selector lever knob off the gear selector lever. It may be necessary to twist and turn the gear selector lever knob slightly to remove it.

Hint: Once the gear selector lever knob has been turned 45°, push it forwards and pull from the lug (1) on the gear selector lever. The lug (1) on
the gear selector lever can only be inserted diagonally through the hole in the lower section (2) of the gear selector lever knob.

Install the new gear selector lever knob on the gear selector lever. Once turned a Â¼turn to the left, press down and twist straight forward

Pull the gear selector lever knob to check that it is secure.

Removal 

Removing the gear selector knob 

Remove the gear selector knob. 

Removing the center console 

Remove the center console. 

Removing the top panel from the gear selector assembly 

Separate the connectors.

Remove:  

-

the rear connector

-

the cables from the clips.

Removing the gear selector assembly stop 

Use a screwdriver.

Insert the screwdriver in the slots (1-4). Carefully pry in towards the gear selector assembly with the screwdriver. Pull the gear selector assembly stop
up to release the locking
