Remove the screw (1), the nuts (2) and then the bracket (3) (pull the bracket forwards).

Lift off the protective cover (4).

Remove the two screws in the tailgate sill trim panel.

Remove the dummy plug from the hole in the body, see the illustration (battery draining is not affected).
Note! It is only possible to connect one of the functions (rear fog lamps, charging or reversing lamps) according to applicable steps below. You
can also choose not to connect any of the functions.
