Remove the drain hose (1) from the battery.

Remove the rubber seal (2). It will not be re-used.

Pull off the small, thin rubber strap on the new rubber seal.

Insert the old drain hose through the new rubber seal. Make sure the hose is not obstructed and that it is not folded.
Note! It is only possible to connect one of the functions (rear fog lamps, charging or reversing lamps) according to applicable steps below. You
can also choose not to connect any of the functions.
If the rear fog lamp function will be used: Illustration A

Carefully press down the small catch in the locking mechanism for the grey (GR) 12-pin connector with a small screwdriver. Pull out the locking
mechanism until it stops.

Connect the blue (BL) cable to position 2 in the connector.

Move the locking mechanism back to locked position.

Insulate the cable terminal and secure the blue (BL) cable if it is not intended for connection.
