Sun Shade: Service and Repair

Sun visor/inner cover sun roof, replacement

Removing the sun visor/inner cover

Remove:

-

the glass cover. See Glass sun roof, replacement See: Sunroof / Moonroof Panel/Service and Repair 

-

the drainage channel. See Gutter sun roof, replacement See: Sunroof / Moonroof Frame/Service and Repair/Gutter Sunroof, Replacement.

Pull inner cover forwards.
Compress the spring.
Angle the hatch out through the roof opening.
Replace the sunroof.

Installing the sun visor/inner cover

Angle the inner cover in through the roof opening.
Compress the spring.
Slide in the inner cover.

Install:

-

the drainage channel. See Gutter sun roof, replacement See: Sunroof / Moonroof Frame/Service and Repair/Gutter Sunroof, Replacement 

-

the glass cover. See Glass sun roof, replacement See: Sunroof / Moonroof Panel/Service and Repair.

Removing the slide spring for the sun visor/inner cover

Remove:

-

the inner hatch. See Removing the sun visor/inner cover

-

the screw/spring.

Replace the spring.

Installing the spring slide sun visor/inner cover

Install:

-

the screw/spring
