Note! 850/S40/V40/S70/V70(-00)/S80/V70(00-)/S60: Use 30 mm (1/13/16") studs. 945/965/V90: Use 40 mm (1 37 64") studs. 944/964/S90: Use
110 mm (4 21/64") studs.
Applies to all models:

Pull the rear seat centre head restraint up

Assemble the stud and the nut. Tighten the nut

Install the studs for the mounting using the nuts.

Screw the mounting into place as high up as possible on the mounting rod for the head restraint.
