Preparations
Remove the battery lead. See Battery, disconnecting See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting.
Removing the whiplash unit
Remove the front seat. See Upholstery back rest, replacing See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Front Seat, Driver's Seat, Front Seat/Upholstery
Backrest, Replacing.
Fold the backrest forwards. Use the adjustment mechanism (C).
Remove the 5 half moon clips at the lower edge of the backrest cushion
Remove the spring (D) at the rear edge of the seat.
Warning! Be careful when detaching the spring.
