XC90 L5-2.5L Turbo VIN 59 B5254T2 (2004)
Remove:

the battery lead according to: Battery, disconnecting See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting

the outer seat according to: Upholstery backrest cushion outer (second row) See: Upholstery Backrest Cushion Outer (Second Row).
Disconnect the connector under the seat.
Remove the 4 side pieces on the seat over the screws.
Pull the front side pieces straight forward to detach them.
Pull the rear side pieces upwards to detach them.
Remove the 4 screws.
Lift out the seat.
Removing the upholstery from the center backrest cushion (second row)
