Production Modification:
Vehicles after the chassis number in the Affected Vehicles header have a winch of a different design. The "old" winch is not forwards-compatible to
the newer vehicles and the "new" winch is not backwards-compatible to the older vehicles. Winch PN 30714793 only applies to vehicles before the
chassis number in the header.
Service:
For the vehicles in the Affected Vehicles header, follow this procedure to replace the winch.
Note! Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.
Removal
1. Applies to 7 seat vehicles:
Fold down the third row seats. Remove the jack and tool kit.
2. Applies to all vehicles:
Remove the spare wheel.
