Press out the spacer sleeve. Pry the old bushings out of the way using a screwdriver.

Installation

Tightening torque

For tightening torques see: Tightening torque See: Specifications/Tightening Torque.

Installing bushings

Press in:

-

the bushings. Lubricate using grease, part number 1161241-3

-

the spacer sleeve.

Installing the brake pedal

Install:

-

the pedal

-

the nut and the screw, 1 pc. M10.

Installing the steering column on the lower steering shaft joint

Install the steering shaft on the lower steering shaft joint.

Install:

-

a new screw, 1 pc. M8

-

the steering shaft boot and snap ring.

Fold back the carpet.

Finishing

Fit the brake lamp switch in accordance with: Stop lamp switch, replacing See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair.
