the locating pins, use hex socket 7 mm.
Remove:
-
the brake caliper from the holder
-
the brake pads.
Unscrew the brake caliper from the brake hose.
Drain the remaining brake fluid.
Installing the brake caliper
Insert the brake caliper on brake hose (Do not tighten)
Install:
-
brake pads
-
brake caliper in the holder.
Lubricate the locating pins using grease, P/N 1161325-4.
Insert the locating pins into the rubber sleeves. The pins should slide into the sleeves easily.
Tighten the locating pins. For tightening torques, see Specifications See: Specifications/Tightening Torque.
Install the protective caps.
Install the securing spring.
Tighten the brake hose. For tightening torques, see Specifications See: Specifications/Tightening Torque.
Note! The brake hose must not be twisted. If necessary alter the hose at the other end (brake pipe end).
Bleeding brake systems
Fill and bleed the brake system.
Note! Use only Volvo Genuine parts brake fluid (Volvo DOT 4+).
