XC90 L5-2.5L Turbo VIN 59 B5254T2 (2004)
Note! Seal the ends of the pipe before installing the new brake pipe.
Thread the brake pipe between the bodywork and the fuel lines.
Continue under the parking brake cable and over the muffler down to the other brake pipe.
Remove the seal from the pipe end.
Install:
-
the brake pipes. Tighten. See: Tightening torque See: Specifications/Tightening Torque
-
the brake pipe and the brake hose in the bracket. Tighten. See: Tightening torque See: Specifications/Tightening Torque.
Note! The brake pipe must not be in contact with the car body. The brake hose must not be twisted.
Install:
-
fuel filter
-
the M8 screw for the fuel filter mounting.
Finishing
Pull the heat deflector plate to the installation position.
Install:
-
the cross member
-
the 2 x M8 screws
-
the 4 M8 screws for the support for the center bearing.
Remove the pedal jack.
Top up and bleed the braking system. See Brake system, bleeding (using bleeding unit) See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair/Brake System, Bleeding
(Using Bleeding Unit).
Testing the pressure of the brake system
