Remove:
-
the mechanical cable from the cable pulley in the pedal
-
the retaining clip
-
the outer casing for the mechanical cable from the pedal using round-nose pliers.
Installation
Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications See: Specifications/Tightening Torque.
Installing the front brake cable
Pull the mechanical cable into the center of the tunnel above the insulation.
Note! The mechanical cable for the parking brake pedal must be installed before the power distributor at the tunnel.
Installing the accelerator pedal (AP)
Install:
-
the lower screw for the accelerator pedal (AP)
-
tighten the 3 M6 screws for the accelerator pedal (AP). The cable must be underneath the mounting plate for the accelerator pedal (AP) so that the
2 pieces of tape on the cable are hidden by the mounting.
