Blower fan motor / power unit, replacing

Preparations

Remove the dashboard. See Dashboard, replacing See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and
Repair/Dashboard, Replacing.
Detach the climate control unit and member and angle it out. See Climate unit, replacing See: Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair/Climate
Unit, Replacing.

Removing the fan motor from the climate control unit

Note! Do not detach the air conditioning (A/C) pipes or the engine coolant hoses.

Remove:

-

the drain hoses from the engine and filter housing. Then move the drain hoses out of the way

-

the connector.

Remove the 5 screws from the blower fan motor.
Detach and remove the blower fan motor and fan shroud.
