Headlamp Alignment Actuator: Service and Repair

Motor height control headlamp, replacing

Removal

Preparatory work

Remove the headlamp. See Headlight/bulb, replacing See: Headlamp Bulb/Service and Repair/Headlight/Bulb, Replacing Headlight/bulb,

Removing the motor

Disconnect the connector

-

Remove the motor by turning a 1/4 turn clockwise

Twist the motor downwards along the shaft so that the ball releases from the channel in the reflector. See the illustration.
