Checking the upper seat belt mountings on the second row of seats,

Remove the front of the side panel by pulling the panel inward into the vehicle.
When installing, ensure that the locating pin (upper arrow) is lined up with the holes in the bodywork. Press until all the clips lock.

Ensure that the lower screw is correctly positioned and secure.
Use a torque wrench with relevant socket to check that the lower screw is secure.
Set the torque wrench to 10 Nm. Test tighten the screw.
If 10 Nm is reached without the screw turning then the screw is correctly tightened.
Note!
If the screw moves before reaching 10 Nm, remove it. Check that the threads are intact and that locking fluid is present.
Note!
If the threads are distressed or the locking fluid is absent, replace the screw with a new one P/N 967731.
Install the screw. Tighten to 25 Nm.

Install:
-
the side panel
-
the C-post panel according to the method in VADIS
-
the screwed joints for the side panel. Tighten to 6 Nm
-
the clip in the storage compartment
-
the screw for the loading eye. Tighten to 25 Nm
-
the door weatherstrip on the panel edge. Ensure that the weatherstrip is located correctly against the bodywork and the panels.
