Power Steering Fluid Reservoir: Service and Repair

Fluid reservoir, reservoir

Removing the fluid reservoir 

-

Install lock grip pliers on the return hose from the fluid reservoir as close to the power steering pump as possible.

Warning! Avoid skin contact with the oil.

Extract the oil using the suction unit according to Workshop Guide Bulletin 239

-

Lift the fluid reservoir from its mounting

-

Disconnect both the hoses from the reservoir

-

Remove the reservoir.
