Tilt Wheel Handle: Service and Repair

Lever steering wheel adjustment, replacing

Preparations

Remove:

-

the battery lead, see Battery, disconnecting See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting

the soundproofing panel. See Soundproofing panel, replacing See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

the steering wheel covers. See Replacing the steering column covers See: Steering Column Cover/Service and Repair.

Removing the lever for steering wheel adjustment

-

Remove the four screws holding the steering column

-

Pull the steering column backwards out from the three guides and press to the right.
