Remove:
-
the screw in the lower mounting for the damper
-
the shock absorber.
Installation
Tightening torque
For further information about tightening torques, see Tightening torque See: Specifications.
Installing the rear damper
Insert the new shock absorber through the control arm to the upper mounting.
Install the new nut loosely.
Note! Ensure that the bush seats correctly in the opening in the rear suspension
Fix the damper in the lower mounting.
Tighten the M12 screw.
Tighten the upper nut for the damper. Tighten to 60 Nm.
