The bevel gear is supplied filled with oil, however, always check the oil level.
Use the right oil. See: See: Specifications

Correct volume 650 ml
Fill with oil up to the filling plug. Draw out 0.1 L oil.
Tighten the level plug. See See: Specifications/Mechanical Specifications/Tightening Torque

Removal

Removing the transmission

Remove the transmission according to Transmission, removing See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.

Removing the torque converter

Pull the torque converter straight out of the transmission. Check the torque converter throat for damage.

Removing the sealing ring from the oil pump

Use extractor 999 5069 EXTRACTOR See: Tools and Equipment/999 5069 Extractor.
