Lubricate the ball on the link arm using grease

Install the 3 screws for the windshield wiper motor

Position a wrench as support between the link arm and the bracket and screw head. See illustration

Position the control arm on the ball. Carefully tap the control arm into place. Use a sleeve and a mallet.

Windshield wiper mechanism

Lubricate the lug using a soap solution

-

Install the mechanism in the correct position

-

Tighten the screws

-

Connect the connectors

-

Tighten the screws. Tighten to20 Nm. Start with the outer screw (closest to the front fender)

Install the panel over the wiper mechanism

-

Reset the wiper motor and mechanism by switching on the ignition and then turn the wiper switch on and off

Install the wiper arms. See Windshield wiper arms.
