Tap in the seals to the correct depth between the drift and the final drive housing.

Note! There are different depths for the left and right-hand sides between the flange of the drift and the final drive housing.

Left side: the measurement (A) must be 0.5 mm; measured from the surface of the hooks on the nut.
Right-hand side: the dimension (B) must be 6 mm. The seal must be flush with the housing surface.

Installing the drive shaft

Filling and checking the oil level

Top up and check the oil level in the final drive. See See: Differential Assembly/Service and Repair/Final Drive, Replacing.
