Wiper mechanism windshield, replacing

Removal

Preparations

-

Check that the wiper motor is in the parked position. Switch on the ignition. Switch the wipers on and off

-

Switch off the ignition.

Windscreen wiper mechanism

Remove:

-

the windshield wiper arms. See Wiper arm / blade windshield, replacing See: Wiper Arm/Service and Repair/Wiper Arm/Blade Windshield,
Replacing.

-

plenum chamber and gutter. See: Cowl, replacing See: Body and Frame/Cowl/Cowl Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair 

-

the cable ties.

-

Disconnect the connectors for the wiper motor

-

the screws for the mechanism. Remove the pin from the rubber bushing.
