Remove:

-

the center screw

-

the VVT unit from the camshaft.

Installation

Note! for tightening torques, see See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Specifications/Mechanical Specifications/Tightening Torque

Installing VVT-unit

Note! Ensure that the VVT unit is unlocked, see: Unlocking the VVT unit.

Install:

-

the VVT unit on the camshaft

-

the 1 x M10 screw; do not tighten.

Install:

-

the camshaft

-

the chain tensioner.

Note! Adjust the marking on the VVT unit to the color marking on the camshaft chain.
