Make sure that the choke valves (1) and (2) are in place.

Turn the camshafts into position.

Oil in the camshaft nodes, camshaft bearing surfaces and the top of the valve lifters. Fit the camshaft cover. Screw in all screws in a manner that the
cover remains parallel to the cylinder head.
Using the sequence 1-9, tighten the camshaft cover to the cylinder head alternately a few turns at a time until there is full contact. Tighten other screws
by hand.
