Fault-tracing information

Hint: Check that the volume is not turned down.

Check other sound sources, to see if the radio works for example.

Yes - Checking the component 

No - Checking the sound

Checking the sound

Check that the settings (volume, fade, balance, central volume or power volume) are not causing the fault symptom.
Check the sound reproduction from multiple sources.
Check that all the connectors are correctly connected to the audio module (AUD) and amplifier.

Was a fault detected?

Yes - FAULT FOUND

No - No Fault Found

Disconnect the media player module (MPM)

Connect another media player.

Load a CD disc and check that the media player is working.

Is there sound reproduction from the media player?

Yes - No Fault Found

No - Fault-tracing information

Fault-tracing information

The fault should now have been detected and remedied. As this is not the case, the fault-tracing has failed.
Complete the fault-tracing for this fault symptom or try again.
