Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair
1.
Remove master cylinder as previously described.
2.
Disconnect power booster at brake pedal.
3.
Remove booster.
4.
Check distance between booster pushrod and booster body at rest. Clearance should be .032-.040 inch. Adjust as necessary.
5.
Reverse procedure to install, torquing brake booster attaching nut to 11 ft.lbs.
