Ignition Coil: Testing and Inspection

1.
Disconnect primary leads from coil and connect a suitable ohmmeter onto coil assembly.
2.
Ohmmeter should indicate .7 ohms.
3.
Connect one ohmmeter lead to coil high voltage terminal.
4.
Ohmmeter should indicate 9500 ohms. If not, replace coil.
