Removing
–  Raise the vehicle.
–  Remove wheels.
   
–  Unscrew bolts -7- and remove brake caliper with brake carrier → Chapter.
  Caution
Do not leave the brake caliper hanging from the brake hose.
–  Remove bolt -1- (hold brake disc in place).
–  Remove brake disc.
Installing
Use new bolts.
–  Thoroughly clean wheel hub and brake disc.
–  Fit brake disc onto wheel hub.
  Note
Take care to keep the brake disc straight when fitting it on the wheel hub.

–  Fit bolt -1- and tighten.
  Note
When fitting the brake discs, note the direction of rotation and the fitting location (left or right).

–  Screw in bolts -7- and install brake caliper with brake carrier → Chapter.
–  Tighten bolts -7-.
–  Fit wheels → ELSA/ Wheels and Tyres Guide → Rep. gr.44.
–  Lower vehicle.
–  Check brake fluid level and top up if necessary.
  Note
After installation, firmly depress the brake pedal several times with the vehicle stationary so that the brake pads are properly seated in their normal operating position.
  Caution
Make sure that the brakes work properly before the vehicle is driven on the road.
