Removing and installing splash plate
Removing and installing splash plate
Removing
–  Raise the vehicle.
–  Remove wheels.
–  Remove brake disc → Chapter.
   
–  Unscrew bolts -3- securing splash plate.
–  Detach splash plate -4-.
Installing
Use new bolts.
–  Clean splash plate and wheel hub.

–  Fit splash plate -4-.
–  Fit bolts -3- and tighten.
–  Install brake disc → Chapter.
–  Fit wheels → ELSA/ Wheels and Tyres Guide → Rep. gr.44.
–  Lower vehicle.
–  Check brake fluid level and top up if necessary.
  Note
After installation, firmly depress the brake pedal several times with the vehicle stationary so that the brake pads are properly seated in their normal operating position.
  Caution
Make sure that the brakes work properly before the vehicle is driven on the road.
