Removing and installing evaporator output temperature senderG263
Removing and installing evaporator output temperature sender -G263-
   
Removing
–  Remove the dash panel → Rep. gr.70.
–  Unplug the connector -1-.
–  Pull the evaporator output temperature sender -G263--Item 2- out of the air conditioning unit -arrow-.
  Caution
Risk of damage to air conditioning unit.
t  It is only permissible to drill into the evaporator output temperature sender -G263-.
t  The air conditioning unit must be replaced if damaged by drilling.
  Note
  A87-10875
t  If the evaporator output temperature sender -G263--Item 1- cannot be pulled out, drill a hole as shown using a Ø 3 mm bit.
t  Apply lubricant spray through the hole and pull out the evaporator output temperature sender -G263-. For lubricant spray, refer to → Electronic parts catalogue.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal; note the following:
–  Replace the sealing ring -B- if damaged or defective.
–  On insertion, make sure the broad guide -D- at the evaporator output temperature sender -G263--A- is opposite the mount -C- at the housing.
–  Install the dash panel → Rep. gr.70.
Perform the following operations on completion of repair work.
–  Interrogate the event recorder and delete any entries displayed → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
