Clip adapter - 2 - to connector housing - 3 -.

Clip sensor wire to steering gear housing - 1 -.

Pay attention to wire routing.

Connect connector with control module.

Very lightly coat seal - arrow - in cover using grease G 052 168 A1.

Install cover with new seal.

Rest of installation is performed in reverse order of removal.

Perform vehicle alignment.

After installing, basic setting for Steering Angle Sensor G85 must be performed using Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS
5051B.
