General Body Assembly Exterior (Repair groups 50, 55, 57, 58, 60, 63, 64, 66)
Rear door
Removing and installing window lifter and door window from/to door subframe
 
A58-0047
  • Door window
    • ◆ Removing:
    • ‒ Remove door subframe -2-.
    • ‒ Lower window lifter -4- fully.
    • ‒ Unscrew bolts -3-.
    • ‒ Unclip window -6- and pull door window downwards out of guides.
    • ◆ Installation:
    • ‒ Insert window into guides from below.
    • ‒ Clip in clip -3-.
    • ‒ Adjusting .
  • Door subframe
    • ◆ Removing and installing

  • Bolt (2x)
    • ◆ Tightening torque 4 Nm.
  • Window lifter
    • ◆ Removal:
    • ‒ Remove door subframe -1-.
    • ‒ Unscrew bolts -3-.
    • ‒ Unclip and take out window.
    • ‒ Drill out rivets -5-
    • ‒ Take out window lifter.
    • ◆ Installation:
    • ‒ Install in reverse order.
    • ◆ Observe the sequence for riveting to avoid straining the window lifter.

  • Rivets
    • ◆ Observe riveting sequence.
    • ‒ Rivet in sequence a; b; c; d; -e- and -f-.
    • ‒ Fit using V.A.G 1753 B.
  • Clamping washer
    • ◆ Is supplied together with window lifter.
  • Buffer
