Note:

The refrigerant shut-off valve is only installed in vehicles with map-controlled cooling.

• Vacuum hose
• ◆ To vacuum connection on engine

• Non-return valve
• ◆ Arrow on vacuum valve points towards engine

• Two-way valve for refrigerant shut-off valve -N147
• ◆ An additional switch for rotary temperature selection knob -F269 is attached to the heater control; this switch actuates -N147.
• ◆ The two-way valve -N147 is installed on the left-hand side of the engine compartment (as viewed in direction of travel) above the master brake cylinder.
• Refrigerant shut-off valve
• ◆ Ensure refrigerant flows in correct direction (arrow).
• ◆ The refrigerant shut-off valve is installed in the refrigerant hose between the engine and heat exchanger in heater (refrigerant feed).
