◆ If the display of a newly installed operating and display unit flashes (for approx. 2 minutes) after the ignition is switched on, encode the operating and display unit and perform basic setting.

◆ The codes for the operating and control unit -E87 vary from the versions with part number 8L0 820 043 up to index "E", indices "M" and "N" (model with two displays) as well as for indices "H", "J", "K" and "L" and as of index "O" (model with one display).
