Pressing “K1” off “K3”

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Thrust plate -VW 402-

t	Press tool -VW 412-

t	Tube -3110-

Work sequence

Note

t	Depending on version, clutches “K1” and “K3” may be pressed together

t	“K1” does not have to be pressed off “K3” unless one of the clutches is to be dismantled or replaced.

–	Make sure that the contact surfaces of the tools are flat and smooth and are not damaged.

l	The lug on tube -3110- faces thrust plate -VW 402-.

–	Hold turbine shaft when pressing off.

Pressing clutch “K1” onto “K3” → Chapter.
