| Shift selector lever into position “P”. |

| Loosen bolt -2- at front ball socket -1- of selector lever cable. |

| Also move selector shaft lever -4- to position “P” (rear stop). |

| The parking lock must be engaged. |
| –
| Make sure that the selector lever cable is not under tension. |
| l
| Tightening torque: 8 Nm. |
| –
| Carry out check after installation and adjustment of selector lever cable. |
| –
| With interlock button pressed and selector lever in position “P”, pull selector lever back approx. 5 mm and release. |
| l
| The lever should spring back into the previous position by itself. |
| –
| With interlock button pressed and selector lever in position “N”, push selector lever forward approx. 5 mm and release. |
| l
| The lever should spring back into the previous position by itself. |
| –
| If the lever does not spring back by itself, repeat the adjustment. |
