Securing gearbox to engine and gearbox support
   
Securing gearbox to engine and gearbox support
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Support plate -VW 309-
t  Gearbox support -VW 353-
t  Engine and gearbox support -VW 540-
t  Engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-

Securing gearbox in vertical position
l  ATF drained → Chapter.
–  Secure gearbox support -VW 353- to gearbox with bolts -1- and -2-.
–  Bolt support plate -VW 309- to gearbox support -VW 353-.
   
–  Using workshop hoist -VAS 6100-, insert gearbox into engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-.
