Interrogating fault memory
Interrogating fault memory
–  Connect the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 505x- to the diagnostic connector using diagnostic cable with the ignition switched off → Chapter.
–  Select vehicle system “02 - Gearbox electronics”. The ignition must be switched on.
   
Display on -VAS 5051B-:
–  From menu -1-, select diagnostic function “Interrogate fault memory” and advance by pressing → button.

A - If one or more faults have been detected:
–  Print out information on screen or self-diagnosis log.
–  End function “Interrogate fault memory” by touching ← button.
   
Display on -VAS 5051B-:
–  Rectify fault(s) according to fault tables → Chapter.
–  Again select diagnostic function “interrogate fault memory” from list -1- and erase fault memory → Chapter.
–  From list -1- select diagnostic function “End output” → Chapter.
B - If no fault has been detected:
–  End function “Interrogate fault memory” by touching ← button.
–  Select diagnostic function “End output” → Chapter from the list.
