A3 Mk1

Checking voltage supply
Checking voltage supply
–  Connect voltage tester -V.A.G 1527 B- as follows:
   
Connector
Contact		Measure against
1body earth

t  LED must illuminate
   
Connector
Contact		Measure against
2body earth

–  Switch on ignition.
t  LED must illuminate
If the LED does not illuminate:
–  Check wiring of contacts 1 and 2 of connector for open circuit and short to earth: → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations
–  Rectify any open/short circuit as necessary.
If the LED illuminates:
